- Search for media using UC Library Search

Requesting Media
Media items are held in storage
- Search for media using UC Library Search and log-in to request
- Media will be held for you up to 7 days
- You’ll receive a notice within 2 to 4 business days when the item is available for pick-up
- All media will be held for pickup at the Geisel Self-Service Hold Shelf
- Non-affiliates must use media materials in the library
- Media may be requested in person at the Geisel Front Desk
- For an extensive list, please submit your request and allow 3 business days
Viewing and Listening Media
- The Library (Digital Media Lab 2nd floor) provides playback stations for film and music materials from its collections (including reserve items). Format support includes DVD, Blu-ray, Vinyl, and VHS. See the Geisel Front Desk to arrange onsite viewing
- Portable Blu-Ray players are available for checkout to students, staff, and faculty
- PC productivity stations (most library computers) have disc drives for CD and DVD playback (no Blu-Ray)
Streaming Media
The Library provides access to thousands of streaming media titles.- Use UC Library Search to find media by author, title, or keyword
- Use the A-Z Databases Streaming Media to find media through databases packages
16mm Film Collection
- Screening of 16mm films must be arranged in advance by submitting the 16mm Film Viewing Request Form
- In-class screenings of 16mm films must be projected by professionals from Educational Technology Services
