Update 10/28/2021: UC San Diego Library’s rejoining of the San Diego Circuit System has been delayed until 2022.

On July 27, the Roger and Melvyl library catalog systems that the UC San Diego Library has worked with for decades will retire and be replaced with a new unified system that brings together the collections of all ten University of California campuses. This new unified discovery and borrowing system is called UC Library Search

To ensure a successful migration to UC Library Search, the Library must pause membership in the San Diego Circuit system. After July 16, users will be unable to place new requests for Circuit items or renew existing Circuit items, and all Circuit materials must be returned to the Library by their assigned due date.

As part of the pause, after July 16, the Library will be unable to lend or renew items to our Circuit partners. UC San Diego will rejoin the San Diego Circuit system later in 2021.
