Interlibrary Loan Paused to Prepare for UC Library Search

On July 27, the Roger and Melvyl library catalog systems that the UC San Diego Library has worked with for decades will retire and be replaced with a new unified system that brings together all ten University of California campuses. This new unified discovery and borrowing system is called UC Library Search

To ensure a successful migration to UC Library Search, the Library must pause some of the current services, including interlibrary Loan (ILL). Starting June 6, borrowing of ILL materials will be paused until the July 27 launch of UC Library Search. Users will still be able to submit ILL requests through UC-eLinks, the citation linker, e-mail and other channels. These requests will be fulfilled beginning July 27 in the order they were received.
