Get it at UC to Replace UC-eLinks Beginning July 27

With the launch of UC Library Search, the current UC-eLinks tool will be updated to Get it at UC, a comprehensive linking service to provide users with a direct route to full-text electronic materials. This transition will be happening over the next three months.

Since 2002, UC-eLinks has provided scholars with a quick and easy way to access full electronic journal articles that the Library subscribes to via databases or publisher websites. The system allows users to view an item’s availability at their respective campus and request items that the Library does not subscribe to through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

The Get it at UC button will have all of the existing functionalities of UC-eLinks, but harness the increased usability of the UC Library Search platform. Get it at UC will provide a seamless way to move from an article or book citation to the actual publication and allow users to easily request an item through Interlibrary Loan using their Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials.

Google Scholar users will need to update their Library Links in the settings to add the Get it at UC tool to their profiles. UC-eLinks will cease operating in October 2021.
