Next week is Love Data Week, an event meant to celebrate and educate about data. Each day next week, look for a new blog post highlighting a data-related resource available to the UC San Diego community.
This year, Love Data Week will be bigger than ever! UC campuses are collaborating on a UC-wide Love Data Week series of talks, presentations and workshops spanning from February 8 to 12. All events are free to attend and open to any member of the UC community.
With over 25 presentations and workshops, there’s plenty to choose from! Topics include: text mining for health data; statistics with the software R; an introduction to Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), data sharing 101; a review of social science data repositories; best practices for working with social media data; demonstrations of databases and more!
