栗宪庭电影基金是由艺术批判家栗宪庭先生发起的非盈利基金（电影综合机构），于2006年10月16日在首届北京独立电影论坛上成立。由此开始作为中国两项最重要的年度独立电影展：北京独立电影论坛和中国纪录片交流周的主办和支持机构之一（现已合同为北京独立影像展BIFF）。 （https://posts.careerengine.us/p/5e97707260cd580d73bae6c3?from=latest-posts-panel&type=title）
此海报是独立制片人王我首次为独立影像电影节做设计。2006年4月第三届中国纪录片交流周在合肥举办时，王我以独立制片导演身份参展。他建议“我们可以试着把影展的形象做的专业一点”，并向电影节策展人朱日坤提出“下次再做影展的时候，我可以帮着设计海报。” 2006年下半年，正好栗宪庭（艺术批评家）要在宋庄做独立影展，委托朱日坤策展，朱日坤请王我为电影节设计海报。自此中国纪录片交流周及北京独立影像展的海报由王我设计。(https://m.sohu.com/n/490852207/)
