From 10 Oct 2017 to 26 Oct 2017, the Nearshore Remote Sensing Group from Oregon State University (OSU) operated an electronic wind sensor at Guadalupe Dunes on the south-central California Coast as part of the 2017 Inner Shelf Experiment. The goal of operating this sensor was to record wind information to assist in interpreting imagery from the marine radar operated at the same site. The data consists of 10 Hz readings of wind direction and speed from an FTTech wind sensor, stored in files 5 minutes long.
