"After the ceremonial feeding a couple of days after there was a new occurrende, the 'opening of the boxes', is a display of the things the boys brought back with them. After they display everything and everyone oooed and aaahed they proceeded to give away about 40 percent to relatives, retaining the remainder for themselves." MSS187, Box 44, Folder 9.
