A small collection of research material belonging to early Scripps Institution of Oceanography naturalist and zoologist Ellis L. Michael. The materials were discovered in storage in the former office of George F. McEwen in the 1980s on the Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus. It includes some correspondence and a selection of Michael's writings, research, and collected data.
