The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at UC San Diego focuses on fostering a campus community that includes equal opportunities, common respect, cross-cultural partnerships, and a safe and welcoming environment. Units within this office include the Campus Community Centers, the Center for Faculty Diversity & Inclusion, and several academic and administrative initiatives.
