Twenty-three audiocassettes of radio interviews and documentaries made by Christopher Ashton in Papua New Guinea between 1972 and 1975.

Christopher Philip Mackenzie Ashton, writer and journalist, received his bachelor's degree in social anthropology from Trinity College, Oxford University, in 1968. During his long residency in Papua New Guinea, he wrote for the PACIFIC ISLANDS MONTHLY and produced radio documentaries and interviews with prominent Papua New Guineans.

The Christopher Ashton Audiorecordings contain interviews and documentaries recorded between 1972 and 1975 in Papua New Guinea. The recordings are arranged in numeric order.
