DESCRIPTION: The accession consists of the personal papers of  
biologist Ralph Arnold Lewin. It consists of three series:  
Correspondence, 1941-1980, Laboratory Notebooks to 1980, and  
Manuscripts of Scientific Books and Papers to 1980. Ralph Lewin  
brought three negatives to SIO Archives on 3/5/91 taken at the 1st  
International Oceanographic Congress, 1959, which were added to  
collection.
