Description: The accession consists of 26 90-minute audio cassette tape recordings, 4 60 minute
audio cassette tape recordings and 2 Olympus XB60 microcassette audio tapes. These tapes record
conversations and interviews documenting the history of diving in the United States. The tapes were
recorded by Eric Hanauer as background research for his books including Diving Pioneers:An oral
history of diving in America. Interviewees include Kimiou Aisek, Lloyd Bridges, Charles Nicklin,
Wally Potts, Andreas Rechnitzer,
Eric Hanauer transferred his copyright in and to these interviews to UC Regents.
