Information about UC San Diego Library services available during the campus winter closure can be found online.
While both Geisel Library and WongAvery Library will be closed, access to most of our online resources will be unaffected. Faculty, students, and staff can access Library-licensed online resources off-campus via the campus VPN. Subject and Research Guides are available to help you navigate our online resources.
Instructors may continue to submit requests during the closure by logging into the Course Reserves system. Requests submitted after Friday, December 8, 2023 will be processed in the order received beginning January 3, 2024 and may not be available for student use until after winter quarter instruction has begun.
As noted on the Library Hours webpage, Geisel Library will close on Friday, December 22 at 6 p.m. and reopen on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 7:30 a.m. WongAvery Library will close on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 5 p.m. and reopen on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 10 a.m.
