Information about UC San Diego Library services available during the campus winter closure can be found online. While both Geisel Library and WongAvery Library will be closed, access to most of our online resources will be unaffected. Faculty, students and staff can access Library-licensed online resources off-campus via the campus VPN.
Instructors may continue to submit requests during the closure by logging into the Course Reserves system. Requests submitted after Friday, December 9, 2022 will be processed in the order received beginning January 3, 2023 and may not be available for student use until after winter quarter instruction has begun.
As noted on the Library Hours webpage, Geisel Library will close on Thursday, December 22 at 6 p.m. and reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 7:30 a.m. WongAvery Library will close on Thursday, December 22 at 5:30 p.m. and reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 10 a.m.
