UC San Diego Participates in 7th Annual Festival of Books on August 19

The San Diego Union-Tribune’s 7th Annual Festival of Books takes place on Saturday, August 19, and the UC San Diego Library is excited to participate alongside San Diego’s literary community!

The Festival of Books is a free event for book lovers of all ages. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the University of San Diego (USD) campus, enjoy workshops, activities, photo booths, live entertainment, discussions with award-winning authors and more!

Look for the UC San Diego Library’s Exhibits and Events Coordinator Scott Paulson who will moderate a panel discussion with the following fiction writers:

Marisa Crane, author of “I Keep My Exoskeletons to Myself”
Paulette Kennedy, author of “Parting the Veil” and “The Witch of Tin Mountain”
Kiersten White, author of “Mister Magic”

You can also catch Scott at the UC San Diego Bookstore’s booth where he will help visitors make one-of-a-kind bookmarks.
