Registration is now open for the third annual UC GIS Week conference, which will be held virtually from November 15-17, 2022.

Coordinated by the University of California GIS Leadership Committee, the conference will feature presentations, lightning talks, panel discussions, a workshop, and innovative poster presentations, all centering on geospatial research and applications.

Since its inception in 2020, this event is thought to be one of the largest GIS Day observations in the world.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Growing Together,” as students, researchers and instructors from across the University of California share their cutting-edge knowledge and expertise with each other and with the wider community.

Topic areas will include:

  • Neighborhood Analysis
  • Remote Sensing
  • Health Care
  • Natural Resources
  • Analysis and Modeling
  • Society and Culture
  • Research
  • GIS Careers
  • Open Source

The event will be hosted virtually through Zoom. All sessions are free and open to the public. For more information, visit the UC GIS Week page.
