Discover award-winning works of Taiwanese literature in this captivating new exhibit at Geisel Library. Showcasing a diverse selection of English-translated books, the display features acclaimed novels, poetry and prose exploring themes of gender and LGBTQ+ experiences, Indigenous voices, Taiwanese history and nature writing.
Each book demonstrates the characteristics of Taiwan’s island and the complex historical changes, colonial history and democratization process it has faced in modern times. Visitors can explore the depth and diversity of Taiwanese literature through a curated collection of literary works.
This exhibit is presented by The National Museum of Taiwan Literature and the UC San Diego Center for Taiwan Studies.
探索獲獎無數的臺灣文學作品，盡在這場於Geisel Library全新推出的精彩展覽。本次展覽精選多部已譯成英文的臺灣文學著作，包括備受讚譽的小說、詩歌與散文，深入探討性別與 LGBTQ+ 經驗、原住民文學、臺灣歷史及自然書寫等多元主題。
