New Writing Series Features Katherine Factor

The UC San Diego Department of Literature’s New Writing Series returns this fall with a number of events taking place in Geisel Library’s Seuss Room!

Katherine Factor is the author of Choose Your Own Adventure SPIES: Mata Hari. She is a poet, editor, and educator. She mentors young writers, having taught at Idyllwild Arts Academy, Interlochen Arts Academy, and in summer programs. A graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, she is a recipient of an Iowa Arts Council grant and residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and Squaw Valley Community of Writers. Her manuscript,  A Sybil Society, was a semi-finalist in the Cleveland State University first book prize in 2017.
