La Jolla Playhouse’s celebrated annual WOW Festival is a four-day celebration of immersive, interactive and surprising art experiences from local, national and international artists. This is theatre – without walls.
From April 24 – 27, discover more than 20 new works including free and paid events with fun for the whole family. WOW Festival is presented in partnership with UC San Diego and takes over locations around the campus in La Jolla.
As part of this year’s lineup, a ticketed experience will take place in Geisel Library: Tale Travelers!
Description
Embark on an adventure at Geisel Library with Tale Travelers! Audiences of all ages will enjoy a thrilling journey, encountering legendary characters as they explore classic literature, having mysteriously fallen from their stories. Learn a sea shanty with Captain Hook, bring a monster to life with Dr. Frankenstein, explore stories with Scheherazade, and more.
