GIS for the Climate Sciences

This workshop provides an overview of GIS, various tools and the underlying capabilities such as spatial data exploration, analytics, mapping and other components. It will explore tools such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Apps. The workshop is designed for students, researchers, staff and faculty interested in climate science and ocean sciences that are affiliated with Scripps Institute of Oceanography and UC San Diego.

Computers will be provided to participants for this workshop. However, you will also have the opportunity to bring and work on your own computer.

This workshop is open to UC San Diego affiliates only, and registrartion is required. Special permissions must be provided to attendees to access needed ArcGIS resources for the workshop.
