The UC San Diego Library’s annual gala event, Dinner in the Library, will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016, featuring the dynamic Ari Shapiro, an award-winning journalist and co-host of NPR’s All Things Considered. Shapiro will draw on his experience as a White House and International correspondent to give a compelling and timely talk titled, Behind the News of the Moment. The evening’s festivities will include a signature cocktail hour, fabulous dinner, and champagne and dessert reception all in the university’s iconic Geisel Library.
