Art of Science Contest: Open Voting

When
Apr 14, 2021–May 9, 2021
All Day

The Art of Science contest celebrates the beauty that can emerge during scientific exploration. UC San Diego and UC San Diego affiliate undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral, and faculty researchers were invited to submit images and graphics directly related to their research along with a title and a caption that describes their research in a way that is both engaging and accessible to non-scientists.

Help us select a “community favorite” image by casting your vote between April 14 – May 9. Winning images will be announced on May 24.

How to Vote

  • Visit the Art of Science Contest voting portal; scroll down and click “Like” below your favorite image
  • Click the blue Save and Finish button that appears in the white banner at the bottom of your browser window
  • One vote per person

    • One winner from each participant category (undergraduate, graduate, postdoc, and faculty) will receive a $75 prepaid Visa card
    • Up to three honorable mentions (no monetary award)
