The UC San Diego Library invites you to our Digital Media Lab (DML) Open House. Get up to speed on the latest technology tools at the DML and learn how its resources and services can support you. Open to all UC San Diego students, faculty, and staff. See details at library.ucsd.edu/dml. The DML is located in Geisel Library on the 2nd floor (main) in the East Commons.
The DML offers:
- Free 3D printing for all UC San Diego affiliates
- Virtual reality equipment:
- 2 HTC Vive Headsets
- 2 Oculus Rift Headsets
- 360 Video Cameras
- Augmented reality projects in Unity and Vuforia
- Technology lending, including: High-end cameras, laptop/phone chargers, media streaming devices, and more
- High-end workstations for media editing
- Knowledgeable staff to assist in media creation and editing projects
