Whether you’re a graduating student, a proud parent, friend, or family member, you’re invited to stop by and celebrate this milestone in UC San Diego’s most beloved building — a place that’s been part of every Triton’s academic story. Capture graduation photos inside the iconic Geisel Library, with stunning views from floors 4, 5, 6, and 8. Or take a moment to revisit a favorite study spot one last time and browse our current exhibits.

Consider Honor with Books — a meaningful and enduring way to celebrate a graduate’s journey.
With a minimum gift of $100, a digital bookplate will be added to the online catalog in the graduate’s name, complete with a permanent, searchable note in UC Library Search in a subject area of your choosing. This special commemoration can also recognize a faculty member or mentor who supported the graduate, while helping to provide future students and researchers with the materials they need.
