The Campus Curbside Service began as a pilot program to create a central location for the campus community to retrieve packages they had requested from collaborating UC San Diego partners. Over the last academic year, since campus has repopulated, there has been a significant decrease in the need for this service. At the same time, the operating costs supporting the service have not decreased. It is due to these reasons that the Campus Curbside Service will be ending effective Friday, September 22, 2023.
All requested Library materials must be picked up from Campus Curbside by Friday, September 22, 2023. Items remaining will be returned to the Library after this date.
- By Monday, September 11, the Campus Curbside pickup location will no longer be available as an option in UC Library Search or in Alma.
- Users with existing Campus Curbside pickup requests will be able to collect their items at Campus Curbside through Friday, September 22.
- Any items still remaining at Campus Curbside after September 22 will be returned to the Library by Wednesday, September 27. As of this date, existing holds that were originally scheduled to be picked up at Campus Curbside will be changed to either Geisel or WongAvery based on user request.
