FI (Fill) -- Slag layer under furnace. -- Slag/ t. pipe layer below furnace L99 -- Layer of industrial waste below remains of furnace at the NW corner of the NW chamber of the gate structure. -- The layer is part of the copper related industrial utilization of the gate complex that post dated the original presumably military-defensive stage.
A large amount of slag, tuyere pipes fragments and some ceramics.

Area stratum IIb
Covered by the debris of the final destruction although it is not clear whether the destruction was directly responsible for the end of smelting operations here. -- The differentiation between loci 92, 98, 99 and 103 is technical-they all belong to the same phase and represent the same type of utilization.
