SPANISH WAR ORPHANS SEEK SHELTER IN FRENCH TERRITORY. -- Since the capture of Barcelona by the insurgent forces, an "army" of refugees has been pouring into France over the Pyrenees frontier. Old men, women, children, and wounded soldiers are clamouring daily for admission to French territory. Photo shows a batch of children, made orphans by the Spanish Civil War, on the road near the frontier town of Perpignan. They are wrapped in, or carrying blankets, their only protection against the bitter cold of the Pyrenees.
