CAPB01BD-013BG (core, gravity)
Interval 1 (core, gravity)
Description | No core. Sediment type - silty clay. Because of the high resistance of the sediment, the penetration seems to have been small and the corer to have toppled over, sucking up sediment when taken up again. Only an inch of sediment in gravity corer. All material in glass jars. Corer was rigged with tight- fitting piston, no free fall and no loops of wire. |
