Description | Zero tilt image from a 0.25 um section of the chloroplast contained in a blue-green algae exposed to high light conditions imaged with intermediate voltage electron microscopy. Contrast is reversed so that electron dense structures appear bright. Twenty nanometer gold particles were applied to the surface to serve as fiducial cues for tilt series alignment. |

Description | Tar file containing original compressed versions of full resolution images from microscope with inverted contrast (.ccd) along with the normalized and defect-corrected images (.f.gz). Fiducial mark files generated by xfido and the .ang file containing a list of angles are also included. A series of images entitled *.crop are also included. These images may be the full size images cropped down to a smaller region before defect correction. |
Reconstruction
Description | Single computed slice through a tomographic reconstruction of blue green algae grown under high light conditions. The small electron dense particles represent the colloidal gold that was deposited on the surface of the section to serve as fiducial cues. |
