Image and caption published in Lightning Meets the West Wind: Oxford University Press, 1980. Kwai'ime in front with his son, Riginai'a. Bald panpiper on right-hand side is Alefo. Kwai'ime and Riginai'a are not the lead dancers, they are just in front during this part of the dance. Later in his life, Riginai'a did become a lead dancer in the sango ritual.
