Anita Patti Brown, born about 1870, died December 27, 1950, was an African American concert singer and soprano performer. Brown made her Chicago performance debut in 1903, at the Chicago Opera House, aftering studying in the city. She made many national appearances, including in 1913, she appeared at the annual Atlanta Colored Music Festival, as featured soloist alongside Roland Hayes. Beginning in 1920, Brown created "Patti's Brazilian Toilette Luxuries," a mail-order business selling cosmetics and perfume, as well, teaching voice for students at her Chicago studio."--(Biographical sketch via online source, accessed September 11, 2021).
