-
Ule’esango is the performance of dancing and panpiping before a newly opened skull house. Siisile is the most common type of panpipe orchestra in the Sinalagu region, as an octet.
Tage’eori is a type of panpipe orchestra played in Kwaio but attributed to the ’Are’are area to the south, where it is more common. Most have six panpipes, but one form has seven, another eight. Busumae is an expert player.
Recording is a continuation of Keesing Reel-to-Reel 148.
