This image and caption published in Kwaio Religion (Columbia Univ. Press, 1982), page. 124.). The bark shavings are prepared with langwalee'ai magic, in this case by Folofo'u, the baby's paternal grandfather. The mother of the baby is Geninaatoo, the father Kwa'ilamo.
