The plan is to deploy up to 6 free fall pressure recording instruments at distances of 10 miles or less apart while the washington is directly above the east pacific rise. these instruments will be left for a period of a few months to extend the knowledge of pressure fluctuations data collected by the rrs charles darwin in 1989.
