West- fort wall. East-Corner with L2. North-W7. South-Technical, marks limit of collapse extent.
Area stratum Ia
Destruction circumstances unclear. Tilted remaining walls indicate possible earth-quake. No sediment accumulation post destruction. -- Represents only first collapse layer met immediately upon beginning of excavation. Similar destruction layers appear alll around the gate structure. -- last destructive event.
