An unfinished fishing weir with bamboo woven fish trap at bottom, right, near Kaputa village
- Collection
- Description
-
The stream bed is very low or even dry during the dry season. The weir will be completed by weaving sticks and bamboo to make a barrier when the water level rises. A gap in the barrier will have the fish trap attached and fish will only be able to pass through the weir by entering the trap.
