D'Amico, Leonard (2021). CIL:11813, Danio rerio, yolk syncytial layer cell. In Cell Image Library. UC San Diego Library Digital Collections. Dataset. https://doi.org/10.6075/J0T72G53
- Description
-
Timelapse of yolk syncytial layer (YSL) nuclear movements during gastrulation from a dorsal-anterior view shows epiboly, early animal pole directed movements of I-YSL nuclei, and convergence and extension with intercalation. As the dorsal YSL nuclei extend along the AP axis, original animal pole nuclei are displaced toward more ventral locations.
