Description | This unit is localized in the north west part of the highest platform. This shape is ovoid and the sides are vertical. During the excavation we were not sure about its interpretation and when we found on the bottom one or two skulls we understand that this cut Probably is a retrieval pit aimed to remove some bones from the bigger cut. The ovoid shape and the presence of the skull on the bottom could suggest that this unit is a cut to take a skull. On 28-07-2013, while we were digging unit 19897, we found a primary burial, skeleton 30900, exactly on the bottom of the cut 19880, so we understood that this cut is a burial cut. |
