- Description
-
Human embryonic stem cell colony. This phase contrast image shows a human embryonic stem cell colony growing on Matrigel, a substrate that supports attachment of hESC. The Matrigel forms a thin coating under the cells and is not directly visible in this image. This is a live cell preparation that was imaged using a Nikon inverted Eclipse microscope.
