Bill Edwards, “Got here on November 7 of ’84 from Idaho. As a lot of people who could tell you, we were flat broke.” “It was winter. If were going to starve to death, might as well be warm. So came down here and pitched a tent up in Area 18.” During these talks between Bill and Shana, she will pretty much stop talking whenever Bill is present and let him do most of the speaking.
Bill states the need for one parent to have a college education in order to begin home schooling. His degree is in criminology, but felt it was a “thankless” job—“My worth was more than $24,000.” Ray Wright, fiddle player, begins at tail of tape. - Creation Date
