Description

At Rupert Garae's 'ala hanavulu' ceremony, a donor to Rupert Garae's rank-taking honors him by dancing 'welu.' His son follows him. The donor carries a rungwe, a 'fighting stick' formerly used in war. It now is merely a walking stick and a sign of rank.
