Unchristianized pagan couple South West Bay

Re-photographed image taken in 1981 (Original photograph date unknown). Several photographs have survived the past half-century of visits by outsiders, and photo artifacts from other cultures have filtered into scrapbooks of the coastal Mewun people as well. This photo shows a pagan Mbotgate man and his young wife who were still living in the interior when originally photographed.
