Conclusion of talk with Earnest Johnson at the beginning of tape, frame canopy with no people present dog walking by, spray painted “closed” on door of trailer, etc.
Good shots across swap meet environs convey the emptiness of seller’s row when everything is packed and no one is present. Interview begins with George and his wife, Diane along with Ted and Connie as they present a first hand account of dealing with local authorities and officers. “Our country has tried to define the homeless and we’re creating that…and it’s a real problem if we’re not willing to stand together.” “The officer this morning took my license plate number and I feel that they’re going to stop me and harass me on the way out of here.”
