Bai Xue and Yu Jie with friends in Beijing

Bai Xue (Center) is a model. Yu Jie (R) is a photographer. Xiaojian (L) is my wife. In the background are two of Yu Jie’s friends. The photograph was taken in a restaurant in Beijing. It documents one of my favorite experiences, because Bai Xue was so lively, open and friendly. She is a "free spirit". Later Bai Xue moved to Hong Kong to develop her modeling career, and Yue Jie became the Chair of the Photography Department at Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology.
