Nguyen Nhu Quynh, Vietnamese actress 1 of 2

Nguyen Nhur Quynh (b. 1954) is Vietnam’s most acclaimed actress. She has won numerous awards for her acting in films and television series. She began acting in films since 1973 during the Vietnam War. Much later she was an actress in the French co-productions Indochine (1992), Cyclo (1995) and The Vertical Ray of the Sun (2000). Xiaojian (wife) and I spent time with her three times in Hanoi. This photograph was taken in her sister's apartment.
