Director's statement: "This is the third film I have made for the People's Memory Project. During the winter in early 2012, I returned to my village again to investigate and collect statistics on the deaths caused by The Three Year Famine. I also began soliciting donations to enact a memorial for those who died. Kids from 10 to 15 years old voluntarily joined me. I gave them video cameras to visit old folks interviewing, getting statistics and raising money. It was their first time to learn about and appreciate their village's history. With the help from these "little angels", I no longer felt alone in the village. I could see the future and its hopes. This film is the third and last part of my Zou Village Series."
