- Description
-
The data was collected following the Point Intercept Uniform method, where using transects at 20 y 5 meter of depth with 5 replicates, Macroalgae and substrate type were counted every 20 cm for a total of 10 m. The count of each kind of taxa or substrate is converted to % of cover by the sum of the total counts of a site depth, and dividing it for the total points (250) and finally multiplying the results by 100. The goal of the project was to investigate the macroalgae cover in the San Basilio region in 2019.
