- Description
-
The ecological data of fish and invertebrates were collected by researchers of Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan and Universidad de Veracruz. They come from the visual census of coral reefs fishes in Arrecife Alacranes (2019) and Bajos del Norte region (2019). The database includes information for 112 species of fish. Data are obtained by SCUBA diving census in coral reefs, using linear transects (fish = 30m long x 2m wide). The data will be used to evaluate marine protected area effectiveness.
