House construction 3 of 4
- Collection
- Description
-
Village children are curious about the construction of the house for anthropologist Joan Larcom during her first work stay in the village. The galvanized tin roof is "second hand" and was generally preferred to the usual thatch roof that tended to leak in severe storms and needed to be replaced more often.
